Many customers are seeking pain relief, whether through CBD products or cannabis, as an alternative to pharmaceuticals. Others simply want to enjoy themselves without the negative effects of alcohol.
The lounge offers a range of products, including cannabis gummies, vapes, buds, and resins, which can be consumed using a water pipe. Budtender William Brown fields a common question daily: “Is this real weed?” He assures customers that the products are legal under the Alabama Farm Bill and come with compliance packaging that can be scanned to verify their legitimacy.
Avondale Apothecary has multiple lounge rooms, a music venue, and an outdoor bar, all of which are cannabis-focused and alcohol-free. The establishment offers over a dozen different cannabis drinks, some of which are available on tap. This alternative to traditional bars has proven popular, with customers appreciating the lack of hangovers and the ability to enjoy themselves without the negative consequences of excessive drinking.
