University of Illinois Springfield Launches Online Marijuana Education Programs
The University of Illinois Springfield has partnered with Green Flower to offer five online programs focused on marijuana education. These programs, which can be completed in 24 weeks, aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to start a career in the marijuana industry.
The five programs offered are: Cannabis Healthcare and Medicine, Cannabis Agriculture and Horticulture, The Business of Cannabis, Cannabis Compliance and Risk Management, and Cannabis Product Development and Design. Students can complete these programs at their own pace, allowing them to balance their other commitments while earning their certificate.
The first classes of 2025 began this week, but registration is still open until January 13. Interested individuals can enroll online and learn more about the programs on the UIS website.
These programs are designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the marijuana industry, from cultivation and medicine to business and compliance.
