Five Men Arrested After Marijuana Grow Facility Robbery in Oklahoma

In a brazen early morning robbery, five men were arrested after breaking into a marijuana grow facility in Lincoln County, Oklahoma, and tying up multiple employees. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Friday morning, when the suspects entered the facility, which is located off a highway in Meeker, and began tying up at least four employees.

According to Lincoln County Sheriff Kevin Garrett, the suspects, who are all from the East Coast, attempted to escape through the woods, but were caught by law enforcement, who had responded to the scene with almost a dozen agencies. The suspects were apprehended on the ground, with the help of drones and dogs.

The men, identified as Brian Diaz, Andy Pimenteo, Reggie Evans, Larry Banks, and Anthony Estrada-Medina, were found to be carrying backpacks filled with marijuana and were taken into custody. They face a range of charges related to the robbery.

Sheriff Garrett expressed concern about the growing trend of marijuana grow facility robberies in Lincoln County, noting that this was the fifth such incident in the area. While it is unclear whether the suspects are connected to previous robberies, Garrett said he is not ruling out the possibility.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine the motives behind the robbery and whether the suspects are connected to other similar incidents in the region.
