Lancaster Township Police Respond to Burglary, Uncover Large Marijuana Stash
On Sunday night, Lancaster Township Police responded to a burglary in progress call at a residence on Wycroft Lane. Upon arrival, officers found evidence of a break-in, but the suspect had fled the scene. During their investigation, police discovered that the homeowner, Edward Angel Valentin, was involved in a separate crime.
A search of the residence revealed a significant amount of marijuana, including over three pounds wrapped in homemade clear plastic, 71 pouches of commercially packaged marijuana totaling over 248 grams, 44 THC vape pens, and nine jars of THC wax, along with scales and packaging material. The only item stolen during the burglary was additional marijuana.
Valentin was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and other related offenses. He is being held at the Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
