South Carolina Man Arrested for Growing Marijuana in His Kitchen
A search warrant executed by the Darlington County Combined Drug Unit on February 16 led to the arrest of a man accused of growing marijuana in his kitchen. The search took place at a residence on Oakdale Road in the Florence area of Darlington County.
During the search, deputies discovered a significant amount of illegal substances, including approximately 294 grams of marijuana, 0.3 grams of methamphetamine, six marijuana pipes, and 10 marijuana plants. Additionally, they found various items used to cultivate marijuana in the kitchen.
As a result of the discovery, Ramonta Lee was taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of methamphetamine for the first time. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of law enforcement efforts to combat drug-related crimes in the community.
