Philadelphia Police Release Surveillance Footage of Medical Marijuana Dispensary Robbery
Philadelphia police are seeking a man who robbed a medical marijuana dispensary at gunpoint on April 4, 2025. The suspect, described as being in his 20s with a black heart tattoo on his nose, entered Herbology on Girard Avenue around 2:45 pm and handed the clerk a note demanding money. He then produced a handgun and was given approximately $360 before fleeing the scene.
Police released surveillance footage of the suspect on social media, showing him wearing a black and gray jacket and a black backpack. He was last seen heading west on Girard Avenue and then turning north on 27th Street.
The Philadelphia Police Department is urging anyone with information about the suspect to contact the Central Police Division at 215-686-3093/3094 or the Philadelphia Police Department’s tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).
The robbery is under investigation, and police are working to identify and apprehend the suspect. Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward and assist in the investigation.
