Kansas Bureau of Investigation Foils Illegal Marijuana Shipment Worth Over $300,000
Kansas City, Kansas – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) has successfully intercepted a suspicious package containing a large shipment of illegal marijuana products. On June 17, agents from the KBI’s K-9 unit investigated the package, which was shipped across state lines.
Upon inspection, the package was found to contain 25.9 pounds of THC concentrate, a highly potent form of marijuana. If sold, the estimated value of the seized concentrate would exceed $300,000.
The transportation, shipping, or mailing of marijuana and THC products across state lines is a violation of federal law, as well as Kansas state marijuana laws. The KBI has seized the illegal shipment, but no arrests have been made at this time.
