Minnesota Expands Access to Adult-Use Marijuana
The Minnesota State Office of Cannabis Management has announced that 13 of the state’s 16 existing medical cannabis dispensaries are now authorized to sell recreational marijuana products. These dispensaries have been issued combination business licenses, allowing them to serve both medical and recreational customers.
Good Greens, a popular dispensary chain with eight locations, including Moorhead, is among those now offering cannabis products for both medical and non-medical use. According to Eric Taubel, Executive Director of the Office of Cannabis Management, the state has reached a significant milestone, with key operational streams now in place, enabling state-licensed retailers to expand their market.
As these dispensaries open their doors to eager customers, they are working closely with tribal nations to carry products grown by these tribes. This collaboration is expected to provide customers with a wider range of options and support the state’s growing cannabis industry.
