Princeton Police Make Large Drug Bust, Arrest Local Man
On Thursday, Princeton Police responded to a disturbance call at a residence, where they detected a strong odor of marijuana. With permission from the homeowner, officers conducted a search of the property, leading to the discovery of a significant amount of drugs and drug-related paraphernalia.
The investigation revealed approximately 7-8 pounds of marijuana, as well as cash, marijuana vape pens, wax, sandwich baggies, scales, and other drug-related items. Additionally, police found psychedelic mushrooms, also known as “shrooms,” and Xanax pills.
As a result of the search, 44-year-old Michael D. Huebner of Princeton was arrested and charged with several drug-related offenses, including dealing in marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of shrooms, and possession of a legend drug.
The Princeton Police Department (PPD) reported that Huebner was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Vanderburgh County Jail. The investigation is ongoing, and further charges may be pending.
