Klutch Cannabis Opens Flagship Store in Akron with High Hopes
Akron, OH – Klutch Cannabis, a leading marijuana dispensary, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its new flagship store in Akron’s Wallhaven neighborhood. The store, located at 1960 West Market St, will officially open its doors on October 7th at 9:00 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Pete Nischt, Vice President of Compliance and Communications at Klutch Cannabis, was instrumental in bringing the store to the community. “We’re excited to finally open our doors in Akron, a city that has been our home base for years,” he said. “We’ve worked closely with City Council and local residents to tailor our store to the area, and we’re confident that it will be a valuable addition to the community.”
The new store offers a wide range of cannabis products, from novice-friendly options to exclusive drops only available at Klutch’s own stores. The staff is trained to help customers choose the right products for their needs, ensuring a positive experience for all.
To celebrate the grand opening, Klutch Cannabis will be offering 10 days of deals, including discounts on cannabis products and apparel. The Rolling Comfort food truck will also be on site from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The new store has created 15 jobs in the area and is expected to generate significant revenue for the community. According to Nischt, the store has “high hopes” for its financial impact, citing the benefits of legalization, including increased sales tax revenue and the host community fund.
The host community fund, which is preserved in Ohio’s SB56, allocates 36% of the 10% excise tax on dispensary sales to the municipality where the store is located. This funding has already been used by communities to purchase firetrucks, police cruisers, and beautify neighborhoods.
Klutch Cannabis is committed to being a positive force in the community, and the new store is no exception. With its unique historical collection of photos from Akron, the store aims to celebrate the city’s heritage while providing a welcoming and informative environment for customers.
The grand opening of Klutch Cannabis’ flagship store in Akron is an exciting development for the city, and the community is invited to join in the celebration.
