Massive Marijuana Haul Seized in North Texas, Authorities Uncover Sophisticated Drug Operation

North Texas Law Enforcement Seizes Massive Marijuana Haul

In a major drug bust, authorities in Farmers Branch, Texas, have seized over 4,600 pounds of marijuana and approximately $400,000 in a warehouse complex. The operation was the result of a months-long investigation by the Farmers Branch Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

On Wednesday morning, police and DEA agents executed a search warrant at a warehouse on Valley View Lane, uncovering a sophisticated illegal drug operation. The investigation revealed that suspects were forging documents for legal hemp and CBD products, replacing the legal contents with illegal narcotics such as marijuana and psilocybin.

The illegal products were repackaged at the warehouse and shipped to vape shops across the state and country. Authorities conducted undercover purchases, testing the products to confirm they contained high levels of THC and psilocybin.

Although suspects were briefly detained at the scene, no arrests were made. The DEA will now take the lead on the investigation and prosecution of any federal charges.
