TSA Agents Discover Hidden Marijuana in Green Tea Can at Harrisburg International Airport
On January 17, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers at Harrisburg International Airport intercepted a passenger’s stash of marijuana during a security checkpoint. The illegal substance was found inside a hollowed-out can of green tea.
The TSA officers did not actively search for the marijuana, but instead, discovered it during the normal security screening process. Once found, the drugs were turned over to local authorities, and it is unclear at this time if the passenger is facing any charges.
The TSA’s policy is to not actively search for illegal substances, but if they are discovered during screening, they are handed over to law enforcement for further investigation and action.
