Denver’s Newest Cannabis Club, Cirrus Social Club, Set to Open on March 7

Denver’s latest cannabis hospitality lounge, Cirrus Social Club, is gearing up to open its doors on March 7, offering a unique nightlife experience for locals and tourists alike. Located on East Colfax Avenue, the club aims to break away from the traditional stoner archetype and attract a broader demographic of cannabis enthusiasts.

Founder Arend Richard, a well-known figure in the cannabis community, has been working towards this vision for over two years. He envisions a stylish environment where guests can enjoy a variety of cannabis products, including flower, edibles, and THC-infused drinks, in a sophisticated setting.

The 8,600-square-foot lounge features a main area with tables and semi-private “living room” spaces for parties of up to six people. There’s also a private room for up to 14 people and a ballroom, dubbed the Rose Room, which will host private events and vendor pop-ups later this year.

Cirrus Social Club’s interior design is inspired by a 1920s New York City hotel restaurant, with glamorous floral arrangements, neoclassical decor, and a pink Steinway & Sons piano. The club’s “nana rule” ensures that everything is designed with comfort and approachability in mind, even for those who may not be familiar with cannabis.

Guests can order from a menu of Colorado-grown herb and indulge using Cirrus’ collection of glass pipes, bongs, and other smoking devices. The club will also offer shareable plates and elevated munchies, including cheese sticks and peanut-butter-and-jelly-and-Cheetos finger sandwiches.

To ensure a seamless experience, Cirrus has implemented a unique service model, where servers, or “flight attendants,” will offer guidance on the menu and available tools for each table’s “sesh.” The club will also have a sanitation room designed specifically for sanitizing communal smoking devices.

Richard hopes to attract not only experienced cannabis users but also the canna-curious, including grandmas, with his inclusive and approachable concept. With its unique blend of style, comfort, and cannabis expertise, Cirrus Social Club is poised to become a premier destination for those looking to explore the world of cannabis in a sophisticated setting.
