Goodblend Medical Marijuana Dispensary in Plano, Texas, Saw a Surge in Customers After Expansion of Texas Compassionate Use Program
On a typical Friday morning, customers began lining up outside Goodblend medical marijuana dispensary in Plano, Texas, at 10 a.m. However, this day was different. The dispensary, which opened its doors in 2023, was now able to keep its inventory on site, allowing patients to fill prescriptions and pick up products the same day. This new service is a first for North Texas, making Goodblend one of the pioneering dispensaries in the region.
The expansion of the Texas Compassionate Use Program for medical marijuana last year has led to an increase in demand for the products. Goodblend, one of the three authorized companies to sell medical marijuana in Texas, received its license in 2017 and began deliveries in 2019. The company expanded to North Texas in 2023, opening its first retail store in Austin and later in Plano.
Leslie Lewis, a customer from Plano, visited the dispensary to purchase CBD and THC tincture oil. She uses medical marijuana to manage her multiple sclerosis-related pain. The new service at Goodblend has made it more convenient for patients like Lewis to access the products they need.
Goodblend’s expansion to on-site inventory has made it easier for patients to receive their prescriptions and pick up products, reducing wait times and increasing accessibility. The dispensary’s ability to offer same-day services has been a welcome change for patients, making it easier for them to manage their medical conditions.
