East Coast’s Largest Cannabis Convention Coming to Atlantic City

NECANN to Host Largest Cannabis Convention on the East Coast in New Jersey

The Northeast Cannabis Alliance Network (NECANN) is gearing up to host its annual cannabis convention in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on September 18-19, 2026. This year’s event promises to be the largest and most comprehensive cannabis industry gathering on the East Coast, attracting over 5,000 cannabis industry professionals and showcasing over 200 businesses in the sold-out exhibit hall.

The convention will feature four tracks with over 35 sessions, covering a range of topics including branding, cultivation, business and regulatory issues, energy efficiency, social equity opportunities, and more. The event will also include a diverse lineup of guest speakers, including actor and cannabis cultivator Jim Belushi, who will be promoting his Belushi’s Farm brand, and renowned rapper Redman, who will unveil his new THC beverage brand.

One of the highlights of the convention will be the NJ NECANN CUP AWARDS, the largest and most respected cannabis competition in New Jersey, open to all licensed cultivators and brands. The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday at 2 pm on the main stage in the exhibit hall.

Other highlights of the convention include an official after-party, “The Afters,” featuring live music, dabs, great food, drinks, and indoor/outdoor networking; a free expungement clinic to help New Jersey residents clear cannabis-related convictions from their records; and the NECANN Women’s lounge, offering free programming sessions and networking activations.

“We design our events to be tailored to the specific needs of the host state’s cannabis market, providing a unique opportunity for local industry professionals, businesses, entrepreneurs, and career and knowledge seekers to network, learn, and grow,” said Marc Shepard, Founder and President of NECANN.

The convention will take place at the Atlantic City Convention Center, with hours on Friday from 10 am to 4 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. Registration costs range from $50 to $135, and attendees must be at least 21 years old.
