Denver’s First Marijuana Spa Now Open for Business
A new and innovative business has opened its doors in Denver, marking a significant milestone in the city’s cannabis industry. Pure Elevations, located at 185 S. Santa Fe Drive, is the first marijuana spa in Denver, where customers can not only purchase cannabis products but also consume them on-site. The spa offers a range of services, including massages, nail treatments, and scalp massages, all infused with Mary Jane’s Medicinal massage oils.
According to owner Rebecca Marroquin, the idea for the spa has been years in the making. Marroquin, who has been a cannabis user for over 14 years, credits the substance with helping her manage her depression, anxiety, and chronic pain after a traumatic car accident. She hopes to share her positive experience with others and promote cannabis as a wellness tool.
The spa’s unique concept has received praise from the Denver Department of Excise and Licenses, which hopes that Pure Elevations will set a precedent for more creative and legal cannabis consumption options in the city.
To celebrate its grand opening, Pure Elevations is hosting a welcoming party on Saturday from 3-8 p.m. and will officially open its doors on Tuesday. Appointments are required for services, which include massages, inner body treatments, and more.
