Wisconsin Set to Host First-Ever Cannabis Festival Amid Growing Hemp Industry
The inaugural Rooted in Wisconsin Cannabis Festival is scheduled to take place on August 29 at the Washington County Fair Park, featuring a wide range of hemp products from local businesses. The event aims to educate attendees about the industry and provide a platform for them to try out these products before they are banned in November.
Hemp became legal in Wisconsin in 2018, and since then, the industry has experienced significant growth. Wisconsin-based businesses have started producing hemp gummies, vapes, and drinks, which are now widely available across the state.
